Justin's Playlist

For 2 years straight I've somehow managed to make it through my life without updated music on my ipod. Insane, right? Well I decided to risk everything for the sake of music and just go on a download spree! I always seem to be in a jam when thinking about songs to put on my ipod, so I decided to help some of you out if you get stuck. Some of these songs on my list are kind of old, but they are all my absolute favorite. I'll just put up my top 25 of my recently added playlist just to keep it simple. Stir it up

These days I don't have time to eat real food let alone make a meal. I'm down to one meal a day which isn't too healthy. Last semester for my demonstration speech I came across a little snack that cooincidently is healthy and perfect for a person like me who isn't able to eat real meals during the day. All you'll need is peanut butter, yogurt, whipped cream and your favorite chopped fruits and/or vegetables. I know you're probably saying peanut butter, yogurt and whipped cream? But yes, it actually tastes really good all together! The end result tastes like a more toned down peanut butter. I think the whipped cream and yogurt just make it fluffy, and who doesn't like fluffy? =) The best part of making this snack is you don't have to measure! just throw everything in together. When you're all done dip your fruit or whatever you have in and enjoy! If you decide to be brave and give this a shot tell me how it goes.

Even though he lost...

Confident, strong-willed people with goals are the people I admire the most. With all of this Super Bowl hooplah I looked passed the game and got to know the players. Arizona Cardinal Kurt Warner is a huge inspiration. You don't even have to be a football fan to really appreciate his story and who he is. I'm not a huge football fan, but since my dad is totally into the Cowboys I'm kind of pre destined to be a fan. So Kurt Warner, 37 years old and made it all the way to the Super Bowl. Ten years ago he was bagging groceries at a grocery store. Now at the age of 27, that's when you're supposed to have your life pretty much figured out with a set path. I bet back then everyone told him he could never make it to pro football because of his age. Whenever I think about someone wanting to achieve their goals by a certain age I think about myself and some experiences that I've had. Way back when..in my early years =P when I was contacted by the people at Kenneth Cole (at the time I didn't even know who or what Kenneth Cole was) to do some modeling for them I remember being told "you need to make a decision fast, because soon you'll be too old. I was only 19 at the time! Unfortunantly in the modeling world I was too short to do "high fashion modeling", how snoody. But that was definately something that I would have loved to do. I would have been all over that if I was chosen! But that just drives my point that people always put an age limit on things. Every member in my family are true believers that it is never too late. It took them some time to finally convince me that it really is never too late. Kurt Warner's story helped me realize that as well. While the oppurtunity of modeling for Kenneth Cole or any other fashion label of that caliber may not ever come by again, atleast I know it's never too late to go out there and atleast model for somebody! Though it is not neccessarily my "dream" to model, it would definately be a cool story to tell to my grand children. From time to time you all should think about somebody you admire to give you that extra kick in the ass that you may need to help you realize your goal. Good luck. ;)
